Attractive Body Language

It’s been said that people pay more attention to nonverbal communication than the verbal kind. If this is indeed true then, without doubt, taking the time to master your own body language is time well spent.

This is particularly true of attracting women with your body language. Women typically respond well to men they deem to appear strong, assertive, confident and in control. So how do you make yourself appear that way? Well here are a few pointers on body language that will make you appear more attractive to any woman.

1.  Slow down.
A slow, steady pace of verbal and nonverbal communication is closely associated with confidence in mating psychology. Think about whenever you see someone who’s talking at a hundred miles per hour and tapping their foot and twitching. They look nervous and edgy. Slow down your speech and movements and you will immediately look confident and in control.

2. Hand gestures. Think about all the best orators in history and how they used hand gestures to engage people when they talked. Practice using hand gestures while you talk to people, but as I said below, make sure your movements are slow and confident.

How To Get Someone To Agree With You

Here’s a simple NLP technique that you can use covertly to get someone to agree with you on a certain point. You can use this trick when negotiating a pay rise, selling a product in person or anytime you’re trying to work people over to your side of the fence. All it requires is using a technique known as anchoring.

Before you reach the moment/question/sales pitch where you want to get the other person to agree with you, you must first lay some groundwork. Ask your target a few yes or no questions. This isn’t a yes set where you want the person to only answer yes. You actually want a mixture of both yes and no answers.

Whenever they answer a question with a yes, flash them a sincere smile (this may take some practice in the mirror) and tie this in with a certain gesture. This can be any gesture you choose, but make sure it’s simple and subtle. For example when you smile you might touch your chin with your index finger. When they answer no stay pretty stony faced and tie this in with another separate gesture that can’t be mistook for the first, If you use the example I gave above for yes, then you could blink and leave your eyes closed for a second longer than you would normally.

Hypnotic Confusion Induction

The confusion induction is a favorite of many famous hypnotists, especially Paul McKenna. The conscious mind is distracted, readying the subconscious into a state ready to receive hypnotic suggestions.

This is a technique used for therapeutic hypnosis rather than covert. As such you want your subject to either sit or lay in a comfortable position with their eyes closed.

You should read this induction in a slow, deliberate manner.

The Induction
(Read to your subject)

Allow your eyes to close and just let your mind wander wherever it desires.

You are aware of absolutely everything happening around you, yet at the same time you are unaware. As you focus with your subconscious mind your conscious mind is drifting far away and focusing on nothing. Your conscious mind is so far away that it cannot hear or sense anything. Your subconscious mind is in complete control.

You can relax, safe in the knowledge that your subconscious mind has taken charge. Your subconscious mind knows everything and your subconscious mind knows this. Know that your conscious mind is calm, peaceful and completely relaxed. It is off duty now.

Signs of Hypnotic Trance

When training to be a hypnotist it is extremely important to be able to spot the signs of hypnotic trance. These signs indicate when your target has been hypnotized and is ready to absorb your hypnotic suggestions into the subconscious mind.

Look for these Signs of Hypnotic Trance

Blinking rate slows down.

Eyes appear glazed over.

Eyes redden due to increased blood flow.

Eyelids flutter.

Eyes close entirely.

Breathing slows down.

Pulse slows down (check neck for this sign).

Facial muscles become completely relaxed.

Muscles around the face, particularly the eyes, twitch.

Face becomes slightly paler.

Target becomes “immobile”.

Target’s voice becomes slower and deeper.

Instinctive reactions greatly reduced.

No reaction to external noise.

You have their complete attention and focus.

People don’t tend to display every single one of these signs of hypnotic trance, but if you see a handful or more then you can be sure that you have sufficiently hypnotized your target to accept your suggestions.
